Toronto native Matt O’Brien has been named Canada’s Next Top Comic.  O’Brien has won the exclusive opportunity to perform live at Global ComedyFest Vancouver and to take home CAD $2,000 cash as well as a professionally recorded and mixed CD of his material.  O’Brien is one to watch on the Canadian comedy circuit, having recently participated in the Q107 Toronto ‘Funniest Person with a Day Job’ contest, Yuk Yuk’s Great Canadian Laugh Off, Bite TV's Stand-up and Bite Me, and he can be seen at comedy venues across North America, headlining and performing at sold out shows with his trademark ‘boy next door to frat house’ style of humour.
